The emergence of manufactured housing and prefab homes is reshaping the role of builders in the construction industry. This shift demands enhanced skills in efficient assembly practices, rigorous quality control during manufacturing, and precise logistical coordination for module delivery and installation.
Builders must also excel in managing client customisation preferences within the prefab framework, offering expert guidance on design choices and materials. Embracing digital tools and technologies further enables builders to optimize construction schedules, minimise waste, and ensure cost-effective project management. In essence, the evolution towards prefab homes necessitates a more collaborative and technologically adept approach from builders, emphasising efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
We offer an alternative solution to the traditional style of building. Our manufactured homes are 95% complete in the factory and can be custom designed for you clients with your specifications.

The answer is yes - but your surveyor should be familiar with the methods of manufactured construction and working with steel. In our experience most build surveyors are happy to work with us.
We can work with you building surveyors to make sure home complies with Building Code Act and the NCC. Just like with a traditional build, your appointed building surveyor will come on site at regular intervals to check the quality of construction. This will be when the structural steel frame is complete as this will form part of your slab inspection and when the lightweight steel is erected. All of this is built to engineers’ specifications and work does not continue until Compliance certification is approved. The Building Surveyor will also need to go on site to ensure that the footing is correct before we install – just like a slab inspection
Our certified trades on in the factory floor and fully qualified and are all accredited and provide compliance certificates of the works that are complete. You can engage them to complete the works on site or they will provide clear instructions how to be connected to the services that they have installed.
Your underground work will also need to be completed as per usual prior to the home being delivered. The home is securely installed and is positioned on a screw pile footing system. The pier system will be should engineered based on the soil report and site survey.
Normally the home will be delivered to site. To install a home normally takes one day. The roof will need to be completed and we encourage you to have your roof plumber ready to go on installation day. You will need to plaster the module joins, lay the floors to module joins, give it a coat of paint, connect to your services, build an entrance and complete garage or carport.
Homes are structurally warrantied for 10 years
We have a site in Derrimut, Victoria. All homes are built on site.
We can deliver anywhere in Australia – yes even Tasmania!
We can provide you and your team with training.
We build our homes to your specification and to the requirements of the building permit. It is the NCC to build all homes to 7 star.
You are responsible for obtaining the building permit. We are simply the manufacturer. As the home is taken off site you are responsible for all documentation site preparation, installation and finishing works.
We use structural steel for the frame and light weight steel for internal walls. All the steel walls is prefabricated. The homes are prewired and insulated to the energy rating report. Windows and installed and the external walls cladded. Internally we can work with you. We can do as much or as little as you request including tiling painting fix out, cabinets, floor coverings.
We will use cranes on site and the way it is lifted will be designed by the engineer
The documentation and obtaining a building permit is the same process. When we work with the designs, we will work out the best way to break the home into modules. This is dictated by the size of the transport. The construction in the factory will take approximately 8 weeks and you can simultaneously complete the works on site. How does the finance work for the client and what method do I use in my contracts? We have finance options available to you and your client.
This will depend on the location of your site and other factors will need to be considered like are their overhead powerlines, can we get access on the roads, do we need traffic management. We will access the site before we even start.
